Lateral Entry Scheme is intended to admit Diploma holders to the second/third Semester of B.Tech course to process Engineering Degree. Government has allotted 10% of the sanctioned seats for LET admission. Details about Engineering Institutions/branches/seats are published www.dtekerala.gov.in / www.admissions.dtekerala.gov.in

Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology by state Board of Technical Education Kerala or equivalent course of 3 years from govt.approved institutions are eligible for appearing LET Examination. Candidates who acquired diploma through distance education of other state boards/universities are not eligible for writing entrance test. Final years students who appear final year diploma examination are also eligible for entrance exam, and should produce Qualifying certificate at the time of admission.

Lateral Entry Test will be having 2 hours duration with objective type OMR based question papers. Exam will be conducted based on first year B.Tech subjects.
